SuperSport United will travel away to face Mamelodi Sundowns in a Tshwane derby and team captain, Dean Furman is eager for his side to return to the top of the league standings.
SuperSport saw their 19-match unbeaten league run come to an end after suffering defeat to Baroka FC in their previous league encounter on April, 1, which saw the Tshwane giants miss out on progressing further up the Absa Premiership league standings.
Now, the Tshwane giants will go head to head in an Absa Premiership encounter at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Thursday, April 13 and speaking at the pre-match press conference, Furman revealed that the upcoming clash against Sundowns will be a good opportunity for his side to go back on top.
"If they are planning to score two goals, then we will have to score three,” Furman responded to Hlompho Kekana’s comment about telling Khama Billiat to score two goals against SuperSport.
“Our fans have been brilliant this season, they have followed is across the country. To go and lose to Baroka was a big blow to us. We want to be back on top and we have a good opportunity to do that,” he added.
