Black Leopards striker, David Zulu, is still out with an injury although he is expected back to full fitness before the end of the season.
Zulu missed his side’s 3-1 win over Maluti FET College last weekend due to injury. The on-form player has been hampered by a calf muscle injury in his progress at the Limpopo outfit.
The 27-year-old confirmed to the Siya crew that he is making progress in his recovery for a possible return to Kostadin Papic’s team in the few games left this season.
“Eish … it’s getting better – maybe I’ll be fine on the weekend – I don’t know really,” said Zulu.
Zulu is the leading goal scorer in the NFD with 14 goals, five more than closest rivals, George Akpabio of Chippa United and Thabiso Kutumela of Baroka FC, who are joint at second place with nine goals each.
Zulu will still be out for the crucial top-of-the-table clash against Chippa United in Cape Town on Friday. He has been linked with a move to the PSL as a result of his fine form in the NFD.
