Kaizer Chiefs’ latest signing, David Zulu, is yet to take part in a full training session at Naturena after he arrived at the club with a knee injury.
The 28-year-old began life with the Amakhosi last week after seemingly completing his move from Chippa United, however it remains to be seen how long it will be before he is ready to play.
Zulu, who has five goals in the Absa Premiership so far this season, is yet to undergo a full training session with his new club, meaning that his participation in this week’s friendly clash with German Bundesliga outfit, Hoffenheim, is in doubt.
The injury is not a new one and he was forced to play some games this season with his knee strapped up as he played through the pain.
Tsepo Masilela is another player that won’t feature in the friendly on Friday night as he recovers from the heel injury that kept him out of the Bafana Bafana squad, though Morgan Gould could be fit after returning to full training over the past few days.
