According to a source close to Aces, the 22-year-old striker has impressed the club’s technical team during a trial there and AmaZayoni are looking to tie him to a contract.
Aces coach, Clive Barker, confirmed to the Siya crew that he had been impressed by Lurie and that he had recommended him to the club management.
“Ja, he has done nicely. He is busy in the box and he scores goals, so I have asked the management to sign him and I believe they are busy finalising that,” said Barker.
Lurie was released by Swallows at the end of last season after making only two appearances for the Dube Birds.
