The Siya crew have been informed that Bloemfontein Celtic defender, Clayton Daniels, has signed a pre-contract with SuperSport United.
It had been previously reported in the press that Matsatsantsa were keen on landing the former Mamelodi Sundowns man, although Celtic had remained cagey on the issue.
It’s thought that January could be a busy window for the three-time PSL champions, with them having already signed Lebogang Manyama and currently pursuing a whole host of other players.

Now, after contacting the player’s representative, Rob Moore, to clarify the situation, it was confirmed that he has put pen to paper on a deal in Tshwane.
Moore told the crew, “Yes, Clayton has signed a pre-contract with SuperSport, but if you want the full details then you’ll have to speak to them about it.
“I’m aware of the fact that SuperSport would like to arrange for Clayton to make the move in January, but he’s contracted to Celtic until June, so that is up to them.
“We’re hoping that the two clubs can come to some sort of agreement because obviously Clayton would love to have the opportunity to play in the CAF Confederation Cup.”
Daniels only signed for Celtic back in September after securing his release from Chloorkop, although it seems that he will soon be making a return to Tshwane to team up with Cavin Johnson.
