Free State Stars goalkeeper, Daniel Agyei, finds himself in the same situation as his countryman, Fatau Dauda of Orlando Pirates due to lack of game time.
The Ghanaian, who started the season as the number one goalkeeper at Ea Lla Koto, was disrupted by an injury in his progress at the Bethlehem outfit.
The 24-year-old recovered and was in goals during the 2-1 loss to Mamelodi Sundowns two weeks ago. However, the goalkeeper was dropped for the game against Polokwane City last weekend.
Tshepo Motsoeneng and Ayanda Mtshali were selected ahead of him, as Kinnah Phiri and his technical team travelled to Limpopo for the relegation battle against City.
It remains to be seen if the player will work his way back to the 18-man match day squad for the team’s next game against AmaZulu in KZN this coming weekend.
