Kaizer Chiefs target, Dan Sserunkuma, has reportedly revealed why he is flattered to have attracted the interest of such a major club in the PSL like the Glamour Boys.
Representatives for the powerful frontman, who plays for Kenyan Premier League champions, Gor Mahia, are said to still be in talks with Chiefs over a possible move.
The forward is highly-rated - He won a few personal accolades for some of his showings in recent times. He was named the 2012 Kenyan Premier League Player of the Year, as well as the 2013 and 2014 Uganda Sports Press Association Player of the Year.
The striker is also an established Ugandan international, and boasts a good goalscoring record for club and country. Nonetheless, it appears the Amakhosi's interest in potentially signing the hitman is still in place, and Sserenkuma is said to be happy to be linked with a possible move to Naturena.
Speaking on what is thought to be the player's official Twitter account, he said, “I love the PSL. My aim is to concentrate on my football while my agent takes care of things. I am very happy to be linked to one of the biggest football clubs in South Africa, I have not signed for any club as yet.”
The crew will monitor developments closely.
