Andile Jali's transfer from Orlando Pirates to KV Oostende was confirmed on Saturday night by Oostende President Marc Coucke.
Coucke announced the transfer after Oostende beat Waasland-Beverend in the Belgian Pro League and described it as "the biggest transfer for the club ever".
He went on to say that Jali would be "one of the best players ever" at the club.
On Coucke's official Twitter account, he thanked Orlando Pirates and their supporters for the 'great player'.
"I'm incredibly happy to be here," said Jali to the Oostende.
"Moreover, I am impressed by the fans of Oostende. I'm ready to shine here."
Jali will continue to wear number 15 at his new club, and has signed a contract that will see him at the club until 2017.
Oostende moved up to 12th in the Pro League with the win on Saturday night, and will hope with Jali's acquisition they will continue to rise.
