Lithuania managed to level matters with their first attack in the 33rd minute, as Krusnauskas Rokas' effort crashed in off the upright.
Amajita had chances to claim vcitory in the closing stages of the game, with Tlotlo Leepile going the closest with a powerful effort from distance, which was saved by the Lithuanian goalkeeper.
U20 head coach, Molefi Ntseki, admitted he was disappointed not to get the win.
“I will take a point though I am disappointed because we dominated possession and missed a glut of chances. But such things happen in any opening game,” Ntseki said at the post match press conference.
