Collins Mbesuma says that as far as he is concerned, he is still an Orlando Pirates player.
Mbesuma's future at Pirates has been a subject of speculation for some time, with indications that he is not in the club’s plans going forward under head coach Vladimir Vermezovic.
Despite the seculation, the Zambian admitted that he he did not feature all that much for Pirates last season, though emphasised that he is still a Bucs player.
"I don’t want to discuss my future because I am still at Pirates," Mbesuma said in Kitwe, Zambia, after watching his childhood club Roan United lose 3-1 to promoted Indeni at Arthur Davies Stadium.
He emphasized, “I am a Pirates player, so I cannot discuss that.”
He went on, “I still have a lot of football, actually I have plenty to offer in high level football. But for sure I did not play a lot last season, it was bad but I have to start properly next season."
Mbesuma played only three PSL matches in all competitions last season, scoring one goal in the process.
