Alexander’s Future Undecided Amid Growing Interest

Cole Alexander Has Plenty Of Options After Leaving SuperSport United

By Soccer Laduma - Jan 12, 2018 09:01 AM
Cole Alexander’s future remains up in the air at present, with the former SuperSport United man not short of options following his exit from Matsatsantsa.

Alexander spent 18 months with SuperSport as he helped them win the MTN8 and Nedbank Cup, but agreed to a mutual termination with them this month after it became apparent that he wasn’t in Eric Tinkler’s plans for the future.

The Siya crew spoke to Gary Cassisa, of Mede8Sports, for an update on the midfielder’s situation, and while he wouldn’t be drawn into specifics he did admit that there are numerous options on the table.

Cassisa said, “Look, Cole has plenty of options that he’s looking at at the moment. We know what he’s capable of and it’s no surprise that there are several clubs interested in bringing him on board. We’re just weighing things up currently.”

The crew will keep an eye on Alexander’s situation in the coming days to see where he will be playing his football in 2018.
