Free State Stars have parted ways with Coldrin Coetzee, as Steve Komphela’s side prepares for the new season, with the team currently camping in Klerksdorp.
Ea Lla Koto have been quietly making changes to their squad in preparation for the 2013/14 season, with a source at the club now confirming that Coetzee has been handed his clearance.
“Coldrin has left the club. He is no longer with us. He is one of the guys that have left the club recently,” said the source.
Coetzee made only four league starts for Stars in the 2012/13 season. The 24-year-old has apparently failed to meet the club’s requirements to keep his place in the team for another season, due to his limited game time under Komphela.
Stars have already parted ways with Kennedy Mweene, Dove Wome, Fikru Tefera, Noah Chivuta, Jessie Jackson and Tsietsi Mkwanazi, with Coetzee adding to the list.
