German Bundesliga outfit, VFL Wolfsburg, ended their tour of South Africa with a 4-3 win over Chippa United on Sunday afternoon.
Wolfsburg came into this clash on the back of a big win against Ajax Cape Town on Wednesday night at the Cape Town Stadium.
However, it was the Chilli Boys went ahead in the 25th minute, with striker George Akapabio slotting in at the near post.
Former Arsenal striker, Nicklas Bendtner, could have leveled matters for the Germans but the Dane headed over the crossbar from point-blank range.
Akpabio then restored Chippa's lead with a fine solo effort after the hafltime break, before Ivan Perisic equalised for the visitors moments later.
Chippa then added a third courtesy of a strike from Siyabulela Shai to restore their two-goal advantage.
However, Wolfsburg then showed why they are currently second in the Bundesliga standings, as in the final seven minutes strikes from Perisic and Sebastian Stolze drew them level.
And the Germans were not done there, as Perisic sealed the win and completed his hat-trick in stoppage time.
