Former Bloemfontein Celtic and Maritzburg United coach, Clinton Larsen, has been appointed the new coach of struggling NFD side, Roses United. Larsen’s appointment follows shortly after the Limpopo outfit lost 4-0 to Baroka FC this past weekend.
Roses’ communications manager, Tshidiso Mokgele, confirmed to the Siya crew that Larsen has been roped in to work with Simon Gopane in the technical team.
“He joined this morning (Monday). (He is starting) as in today, yes. I can’t be sure about that (length of the contract) because I haven’t seen it. We train at three o’clock today. He will be working together with Simon Gopane,” said Mokgele.
Larsen has already been at two clubs this season. He started the 2013/14 campaign as the coach of Bloemfontein Celtic before joining Maritzburg United in KZN, and has been without a club after parting ways with United.
"Sure! If you phone me in an hour I'll be able to confirm," Larsen told the Siya crew.
