Mpumalanga Black Aces midfielder, Clifford Ngobeni, confirms that he has penned a new one-year contract with AmaZayoni.
Ngobeni, who signed a one-year deal with Aces after spending some time in the wilderness because of a contract dispute with Orlando Pirates and Golden Arrows, made 22 appearances for Aces this past season.
It appears though that the 26-year-old midfielder has done enough to earn himself a new contract at Aces.
“Yes, it’s true that I have signed a new one-year deal at Aces. It’s an honour for me to play for a club like Aces,” Ngobeni told the Siya crew.
“We did well last season and I’m happy that the team has decided to keep the majority of the team, because it’s important for us to build on that success. For me, I think we can achieve more with Aces next season,” Ngobeni added.
Meanwhile, other news coming out of Aces is that the club has decided to take up the one year extension on midfielder, Sandile Zuke’s contract.
Zuke’s contract was set to expire at the end of June, but now the Umlazi-born midfielder will stay at AmaZayoni for a further year.
