A word reaching the Siya crew is that PSL rookies, Polokwane City is assessing two players with a view to strengthen its squad.
According to the club’s website, the Polokwane-based outfit, coach Boebie Solomons has made his intentions to the club’s boss, Jimmy Mogaladi, to sign three players during the transfer window.
The Siya crew contacted the coach, who confirmed that he has invited players for trials but refused to reveal their names as the players are still contracted to their respective teams. The Cape Town-born coach also denied claims that the Orlando Pirates duo, Manti Moholo and Bheki Nzunga, are training with his team.

“Yes we are negotiating with a few players and at this stage I cannot reveal names or how many players training with us because that is not ethical for now, these players are still contracted to their teams. Yes we are talking to different players at this stage, once everything is up and running, we will then reveal everything to you. With Nzunga and Moholo, I can’t comment on that because I don’t know anything but they’re not here.
“With Moffat Mdluli, he will stay with us until the end of the season, I don’t know where the rumours that he's leaving are coming from but he’s with us. I’m happy that my players reported to training following the Christmas break, all of them are here. The attitude and the vibe is great, we’re looking forward to the next round of the league. I’m looking for a central and a centreback defender, one attacking and defensive midfielder as well as a rightside midfielder and a striker,” said Solomons.
