Polokwane City are locked in talks with Boebie Solomons, with the view of appointing him as the club’s new head coach.
Following Duncan Lechesa's departure from the Polokwane-based side last month, the club is looking to fill the void left on the bench.
A number of coaches have been linked to the hot-seat, however it now seems that Solomons could be the man to take the PSL newcomers forward.
Solomons’ business manager, Mike Makaab, informed Soccer-Laduma that they are currently in talks with the PSL outfit.
"We are busy at the moment talking to Polokwane City. As you know they have been looking at a number of coaches.
“Yes, Boebie Solomons is the coach they're targeting to be in charge of their bench.
“At the moment there's nothing we can announce but we are in the process and we might conclude the talks by the end of the week," Makaab explained.
City will play their next game against Wits on Wednesday, October 23.
