Polokwane City have cleared all the confusion regarding midfielder, Jabulani Maluleke, who spent the course of last season at Rise and Shine on loan from his mother club, SuperSport United.
The 32-year-old joined Matsatsantsa from Black Leopards in the 2009/10 season, but failed to secure regular game time opting for a loan move to Polokwane City during the course the 2013/14 season.
SuperSport United confirmed at the end of the season that Maluleke would be offloaded due to Matsatsantsa’s policy of introducing younger players for the upcoming season.
Rise and Shine Public Relations Officer, Patrick Baloyi, confirmed with the Siya crew that Maluleke is officially a player at the Limpopo based club.
“For the record Maluleke is an official Polokwane City player. We want to eliminate any and all confusion,” said Baloyi.
"The reason why SuperSport released him was because we bought him. He has been great for us and we needed to keep him on a permanent deal," affirmed City's PRO.
