Chippa United are expected to unveil Christopher Katongo as their new signing for the 2014/15 season. A high-ranking source at Chippa confirmed to the Siya crew that the Zambian international is likely to turn out for the side next season.
Katongo is an experienced striker that played for Jomo Cosmos in the PSL before leaving for overseas. The 31-year-old spent the second half of the 2013/14 season at Golden Arrows.
The Chilli Boys have been busy in the market since the season ended, as the management of the side is trying to reinforce the squad for the new season.
Soccer Laduma broke the news that the Philippi-based outfit signed David Zulu and Mpho Mvelase from Black Leopards and United FC respectively.
Still with Chippa, Kosta Papic is expected to be unveiled as the new coach of the side later today. It was revealed by the Siya crew yesterday (Wednesday) that the Serbian coach has penned a deal with the PSL returnees.
