A Chippa United hero from the match against Maritzburg United has spoken about the team’s impressive first win of the season at home.
The Chilli Boys registered an impressive 3-1 victory over the Team of Choice at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Tuesday evening courtesy of Bienvenu Eva Nga hat-trick, and the Cameroonian striker has credited his coach Lehlohonolo Seema and teammates for the progress.
“The game was very nice, with all my teammates we worked together and we won the game together. I wouldn’t say I won the game alone because we work hard together. I’m very happy to get these three points at home, it’s very good for us in boosting our confidence and it makes us believe in our work,” he said after the match, speaking to Chippa’s media department.
“I want to say thank you to the coach for this opportunity, I’m very happy and I want to say thank you to my colleagues they are always pushing me in training and in the match. I’d like to thank the supporters, I know we miss them and very soon we are going to be together, alone we can’t go far but together we can go very far,” the 27-year-old former Bidvest Wits player added.
