The midfielder has been playing for Cape Town All Stars in the National First Division.
Having coached the player during his time with the Mother City outfit, Dan Malesela has lured the player to Chippa for their Absa Premiership campaign.
“I can’t contain my excitement, this is like a dream come true. Playing in the PSL is something I have wanted for long time. This is definitely a step forward in my career. All I can say now is that I have achieved one of my short-term goals. I have bigger plans for myself, and I think this is the perfect opportunity for me to go further,” said Mbokoma.
The player’s agent from GN Sports Agency, Grant Nieuwenhuys, thanked the two clubs for the move of the 23-year-old.
