Chippa United have provided an update on Mamelodi Sundowns’ on-loan star Phakamani Mahlambi, as well as three other players, including the well-travelled Rodney Ramagalela.
Both Mahlambi and Ramagalela have been notable absentees from the line-ups at the Chilli Boys for the better part of the season after sustaining injuries earlier in the campaign.
With the Gqeberha-based outfit hoping for a good finish to the season from their remaning fixtures, having secured a crucial 1-0 victory against Stellenbosch in their most recent match last weekend, there seem to be light at the end of the tunnel for the duo.
While both players have appeared to be facing uncertain future with the Eastern Cape club, there could be a chance for them to fight their way back for some game-time in the remaining matches of the season, if the latest update from the team is anything to by.
Chippa confirmed that Mahlambi is back in full training with the team while Ramagalela has started light training.
Meanwhile, the club has further confirmed that Jemondre Dickens has started his rehabilitation after his successful knee surgery, while Mokhele Maloisane remains side-lined with a knee injury.
In their next match, Chippa are scheduled to travel to Orlando Pirates at the Orlando Stadium on April 27.
