Chippa United have been boosted with news that three of the club's players have received their PSL cards ahead of the Maritzburg United clash on Tuesday evening.
This comes at the back of the club's 2-1 loss to University of Pretoria last week, as some of the players missed registration with the leagues’ body.
The crew caught up with the Chilli Boys technical members who explained the players who could’ve helped the club turn the results in favour of the PSL returnees.
Players not present last Wednesday were Gert Barends, Jabulani Nene and Lucky Khune who had PSL card issues, however, the crew understands that all has been sorted.
The club’s PRO, Lukhanyo Mzinzi, said the players will be available for their next game against Maritzburg United away.
“Jabulani, Gert and Lucky will all be available for our next game. Their cards have been sorted although Manti is out injured. Bheki is training with the squad as of Friday and it’s up to the coach to use the players,” said Mzinzi.
The Port Elizabeth-based club will be looking at registering their second win when they travel to the Team of Choice tonight.
The match gets underway at 19:30 at Harry Gwala Stadium.
