Chippa United have parted ways with Vladislav Heric after only three months of their reunion and working relationship.
Chippa confirmed Heric’s return to the club in March this year, with the Port Elizabeth outfit’s Executive Chairman Siviwe Mpengesi announcing at the time that the Serbian mentor would be ‘given all the support he needs to take the club forward.’
Heric had previously led Chippa as the club’s head coach to their promotion to the PSL in the 2013/2014 season. Following the club’s decision to re-appoint Dan Malesela as the team’s head coach again, in May, the Chilli Boys announced that Heric would move to the side’s development.
However, Heric has now confirmed his departure from Chippa.
“I’d like to just express my gratefulness to the Chippa supporters for helping us to escape relegation, and to my technical team for the loyalty and support they’ve shown all along my duty. Now, from today, I begin my search for a new job,” said Heric.
“I would also like to thank the players for all of their effort in following me on my mandate. They’re extremely sharp at picking up my working system and tactical requirements that I set for all of them,” concluded the coach.
