A Chippa United midfielder is back in action with a return to training after over six months.
Buyani ‘Ace’ Sali is back in training with the rest of his teammates at the Port Elizabeth outfit.
Sali has been out injured since injuring shinbone last season. The 28-year-old fractured his shinbone in the game for Chippa against Kaizer Chiefs in April.
The player has now recovered and resumed training with his teammates under Teboho Moloi and his technical team.
Still, with Chippa, the club has also been monitoring the injuries of other key players, including Kurt Lentjies, Mark Mayambela and Ayabulela Konqobe.
The Chilli Boys will be at Goble Park on Wednesday evening for their Absa Premiership game against Free State Stars.
The trip to the Free State will be followed by a home game for Chippa against Mamelodi Sundowns at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
