Chippa United’s Buyani ‘Ace’ Sali could be set to make his long-awaited return to PSL football in the game against Kaizer Chiefs.
The midfielder has been out injured after, ironically, getting injured in the game against Chiefs.
Sali got injured in April after he was involved in a tackle with Chiefs’ Lorenzo Gordinho. He finished the 2016/17 season on the sidelines, as a result of the fractured bone.
With the player having fully recovered, he was given a run in the game for Chippa and Chiefs in the MultiChoice Diski Challenge at the weekend.
Depending on his fitness levels, as well as the decision of the technical team, the central midfielder could be considered for a return to the PSL side in their next game.
The Chilli Boys are preparing to host Chiefs at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Wednesday next week.
