Chippa United and BCM extend partnership for a further three years
Chippa United are excited to announce the partnership extension with the Buffalo City Municipality (BCM) for a further three years.
The Chilli Boys have been using East London, the popular beach side destination on the South African calendar, as their second home since 2015. The first match will be a DSTV Premiership fixture against AmaZulu at Sisa Dukashe Stadium in Mdantsane on Sunday, 20 December 2020.
Chippa chairman Siviwe Mpengesi said, “Today we were signing that agreement that was already passed by the council, now it’s the formality to sign that agreement because we have our first game (in the BCM) this month if I’m not mistaken against AmaZulu (Chippa are scheduled to host AmaZulu on December 20). We’ll have other games (there) and we are now going to play seven games as opposed to the five games that we were playing there before. Hopefully, we will play some games in Sisa Dukashe and some at Absa Stadium.”
