As confirmed by the Port Elizabeth club, Baxter was one of the spectators in their most recent match at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, where Chippa drew 1-1 with Ajax Cape Town on Sunday afternoon.

As part of his vision for the South African senior national team, Baxter feels that it will be imperative for the South African Football Association (SAFA) to be in partnership with football clubs by meeting up with their respective technical teams from time to time to discuss important issues pertaining to the game.

The Chilli Boys have confirmed that their meeting with the former Kaizer Chiefs and SuperSport United coach was on Monday at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.

“I found the meeting very informative and positive with regards to Coach Stuart Baxter’s plan of getting closer to PSL clubs. It was great for all of us in the Technical Team to share our views about football as well as listen and gain knowledge around his vision for the national team,” Chippa’s assistant coach, Roscoe Kreiling told the club’s official website.
