Chippa United are expected to release a number of players in an attempt to keep their squad at a manageable size for the rest of the season.
Although the focus of late has been on recruiting new players, the Siya crew has been informed that some of the players in the current squad will be allowed to leave in the not so distant future.
Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Justice Sithole, who joined the side last year, is believed to be on his way out of the team after failing to make an impact since his arrival in Cape Town.
Another player whose days are numbered at the Chilli Boys is Tshepo Tomanyane. Although the former Jomo Cosmos player has received some game time in the team under coach Farouk Abrahams, it is believed that he is not in the team’s long-term plans.
Both players will see their contracts expire at the end of the season and sources in the know at the Cape side have revealed that the two players are anticipating their exit.
