News reaching the Siya is that Chippa United, Free State Stars and Moroka Swallows have joined the race for the services of Platinum Stars midfielder, Lantshene Phalane
Phalane spent last season on loan at the University of Pretoria, and as reported by the Siya crew, Tuks are keen to keep the 24-year-old midfielder after playing for them last season. However, the latest news is that Chippa, Ea Lla Koto and Swallows are also interested in the player.
Phalane’s agent, Ratshibvumo Mulovhedzi confirmed to the Siya crew that there are teams that interested in his player.
“Yes, I can confirm that there are teams that are interested in him, but at this stage I can’t reveal their names,” said Mulovhedzi.
“Lantshene’s contract with Platinum Stars was set to expire at the end of June, but they have a one-year option on it, so we’re negotiating with them to release him from his contract. I’m hoping that we’ll reach an agreement soon. The boy just want to go to a club, where he can play regular football, that’s all,” added Mulovhedzi.
With all four teams said to be very much interested in signing Phalane, it remains to be seen where the Zebediela-born midfielder will play his football next season. “
The crew will keep an eye on Phalane’s situation and keep you informed.
