Molangoane has been in a contractual dispute with Chippa since the end of last season. The player’s original contract with the club was due to expire in June.
While Chippa are saying they extended the contract towards the end of last season, the player and his camp have been refuting reports about extending the deal with the Port Elizabeth outfit.
Sources confirmed to the Siya crew in May that Molangoane signed a pre-contract with Kaizer Chiefs and the former Orlando Pirates player has already been at Chiefs for training, although he later stopped as a result of his contractual dispute with Chippa.
The player lodged an urgent application with the Premier Soccer League’s Dispute Resolution Chamber in an attempt to get his official release from Chippa.

However, the urgent application lodged to the PSL DRC has since been dismissed. The Chilli Boys and the player’s camp have now agreed to settle the matter out of court.
