Chippa United are set to show Wilko Risser the door as the club continues to reshuffle their playing squad.
The Namibian international has made just a single appearance for the Cape Town-based side, since joining the team, in the side’s final fixture of 2012, against Mamelodi Sundowns.
He was expected to add fire-power to their attack and help the team fight their way up the Absa Premiership, however according to a Soccer-Laduma source at the Chilli Boys, the team’s new coach Wilfred Mugeyi has indicated that he does not see the forward in his plans.
“Wilko may be released. The coach isn’t happy with him. He came as a high-profile player but he never gave us anything,” said the source.
Chippa recently signed Stanton Lewis to help the side in the goal scoring department. The club is confident that Lewis will score the goals and help the team win.
