Chippa United pulled off a miraculous 3-0 drubbing to Kaizer Chiefs in the Absa Premiership on Saturday afternoon.
Goals from Thabo Rakhale, Mxolis Machupu and substitute Edward Manqele against his former club piled more pressure on the beleaguered Steve Komphela, who was met with disgruntled supporters.
“I believe the tactical discipline worked well today. We gave everyone a job. Individually every player was brilliant, up to the level I have never seen of them before,” Heric said post-match.
“We knew we had to stop Shabba which is not easy. I believe also Cardoso was stopped from going forward but dropping deep and that opened them up.
“I believe my three midfielders blocked their midfield well and I believe we waited for chances and I knew it will come because we created situations on the left and right side.
“I believe if we can go on like this, we can further in the future,” he added.
