Word reaching the Siya crew is that Chippa United have reshuffled their bench once again, with Wilfred Mugeyi replacing the fired Farouk Abrahams.
According to sources, Mugeyi will be joining Chippa and Abrahams has been relieved of his duties, despite his fine spell at the helm of the team.
Abrahams has been impressive since taking over from Roger Sikhakane, who was sent packing last year, losing only two of his eight games in charge, which included a win over title contenders Platinum Stars.
The hiring of Mugeyi will make him their fifth coach since their promotion from the NFD last season.
Fans of the club will no doubt be confused by the news, after Abrahams was given a two-year deal by the club in December and was thought to be enjoying life at the club.
It is thought that Abrahams will meet with the club’s boss, Chippa Mpengesi, later this afternoon to see whether he still has a role to play for the Chilli Boys.
