Kaizer Chiefs took on Moroka Swallows in a friendly game at FNB Stadium today, beating the Dube Birds 6-0.
Following yesterday’s 1-1 MTN8 draw with Orlando Pirates which saw the Amakhosi crash out of the tournament, Stuart Baxter was keen to give some of his fringe players a run in the lead up to next month’s Telkom Knockout.

None of the players from Chiefs’ starting XI against Pirates took part in the encounter but a number of the substitutes from the game, including Kingston Nkhatha, Lehlohonlo Majoro and Josta Dladla, played.
A brace from Nkhatha as well as single goals from Kaizer Motaung Junior, Matthew Rusike, George Lebese and Majoro completed the rout over a Swallows side whose main exclusion was Lefa Tsutsulupa, who sat in the stands.
Meanwhile, trialist Ivan Bukenya played 90 minutes at centre-back for the reigning PSL champions as Baxter continues to run the rule over him.
