A promising young striker who has made it onto the radar of log leaders Kaizer Chiefs leads the list of the 10 youngest players in the Absa Premiership this campaign.
The Siya crew has learnt that the Glamour Boys have their eye on young center forward Bongokuhle Hlongwane. The 19-year-old, who plays for Maritzburg United made waves when he scored twice in an Absa Premiership clash in February.
Hlongwane is said to be a player, whose displays have impressed a host of clubs, including Chiefs. The youngster was promoted to the Maritzburg first team exactly a year ago by coach Eric Tinkler and has so far made nine senior team appearances.

Another young player who has set the scene alight this season is young Thabiso Monyane. The 19-year-old started the season on a high, making his official top-flight league debut under former Pirates coach Milutin Sredojevic in first match of the season, following his promotion from the development ranks.
So far, Monyane has featured in 13 games in all competitions for the Buccaneers.

The young player who has featured most prominently this campaign is midfielder Goodman Mosele, who is currently on the books of Baroka FC.
The 20-year-old SA youth international has been a regular for Bakgaga since making his first team debut three seasons ago. Despite his age, Mosele has made over 50 top-flight appearances for Bakgaga.
His performances have not gone unnoticed, the youngster has been linked with a host of European clubs, who are reportedly tracking his progress.
