Chiefs Taking City Seriously

Kaizer Chiefs midfielder, Siyabonga Nkosi, has challenged his fellow teammates not to be complacent in their Telkom Knockout clash with struggling Polokwane City.

The action takes place at Peter Mokaba Stadium from 20h15 on Saturday, 5 October.

He told the club's official website, “We are taking them seriously. They have changed their coach recently which makes them unpredictable. This is the type of game where our attitude must be right. We must impose ourselves from the beginning. We must be focused and aggressive from the first whistle.”

Nkosi also commented about his return to first team action. He added, “I am getting stronger and getting better and better with each game time I get. My focus now is to catch up with the rest of the guys in terms of match fitness but so far so good.

"At the moment I am focusing on my game and contributing to the success of the team. As a team we are working very hard and with the right attitude I don’t see any team stopping us."
