Kaizer Chiefs have been drawn to play against either Mpumalanga Black Aces or Free State Stars in the quarterfinals of the Telkom Knockout.
There is still one outstanding last 16 fixture to be played, between Black Aces and Orlando Pirates, which means the Glamour Boys will have to wait to see who their opponents will be between Free State Stars and Black Aces.
Depending on results, the draw will see Chiefs take on either Stars or Wits on the weekend of the 19th of October.
Chiefs' coach, Stuart Baxter, has revealed that reaching the next round is a priority and that the club will be ready to take on whoever they come up against in the last eight.
He told the club's official website, "We are one of the top teams, so we go into a tournament to win. If you are Benfica (Portugal) or Manchester United (England), you enter competitions to win...We were worried that if we lose (against Polokwane City) we will be faced with a two weeks break due to the Fifa week and the also last 8 weekend. There is no dream opponent in football."
