Kaizer Chiefs are said to be ready for a frenzy of matches which will see the club play six matches within the space of 26 days in February, starting after tonight's PSL clash with Moroka Swallows. This means the Glamour Boys will play a game around every four days during this period.
After Chiefs' clash with Swallows, the club then take on SuperSport United in the league six days later (February 5). Three days (February 8) thereafter, Stuart Baxter's men then begin their Caf Champions League campaign against Black Africa.
The club then have another short three-day break before their next league encounter with Maritzburg United. A four day break ensues before the Amakhosi travel away to Namibia for the second leg against Black Africa. To conclude a frenzied run of games in late February, Chiefs then face Bloemfontein Celtic and Black Leopards as well.
Nonetheless, despite the hectic itinerary of matches to come, Glamour Boys hitman, Knowledge Musona, believes the side is equipped and prepared to deal with all the challenges ahead.
He told the club's official website, "The guys are ready. We have been training very well during the past few weeks since we returned from the break. The guys are geared up and looking forward to the upcoming games. There will be no problem with the upcoming tight schedule if we continue to train and rest properly."
