Kaizer Chiefs are likely to continue taking a look at Ivan Bukenya for an extended period of time due to the fact that he’s a free agent.
After the Siya crew revealed months ago that the Amakhosi were monitoring the Ugandan centre-back, he finally began his trial at the club last week.
Now, one week after his first training session at Naturena, there has still been no decision made regarding the defender, although he is said to have impressed during his time with the side.
However, with Bukenya recently leaving his former club SC Erbil, he is currently clubless and there are therefore no time restraints as to when he can sign for the Glamour Boys should he impress coach Stuart Baxter.
The crew have been informed that the 21-year-old’s trial is an indefinite one, and that he will remain with the club until their technical team have made a full assessment of his abilities.
