Kaizer Chiefs will once again be without left back Tsepo Masilela next week, with the defender still recovering from his thigh injury.
The 28-year-old hasn’t featured for Chiefs for nearly a month now, and while it was originally thought that his knock wasn’t a serious one, it has kept him out of Amakhosi’s last three games.
Now, with Stuart Baxter’s side taking on Mamelodi Sundowns on Tuesday night, it seems that Keegan Ritchie will once again get a starting berth, with Masilela yet to return to full training.
It is expected that the Bafana Bafana full back will return to training in the next week or so, and will then need an extra week to regain match fitness, meaning that he could only make his return to the first team against Golden Arrows on December 18.
However, Baxter will be happy with the way that Ritchie has performed since coming in for his more experienced teammate, with the 23-year-old doing well as Chiefs won their last two league games.
