Kaizer Chiefs will be looking to claim their third win of the season over Polokwane City when they take on the PSL newcomers tomorrow night.
Chiefs have already beaten Polokwane twice this season, once in the PSL and once in the Telkom Knockout, with the rookies conceding seven goals in the two games.
The first clash, in the Telkom Knockout, saw Chiefs claim a 3-0 win over their opposition, welcoming them to FNB Stadium the following month and winning 4-1.
Tomorrow’s tie will be only the second top-flight meeting between the two sides, with City having only gained promotion into the PSL this season.
The two sides have had very different campaigns this year, with the Amakhosi gunning for the league title and City battling relegation, and the odds are stacked against Boebie Solomons’ side.
However, Polokwane do go into this game with a three-game unbeaten run, while Chiefs have lost their last two league home games.
Chiefs and City will lock horns at Peter Mokaba Stadium at 19h30 tomorrow night.
