Knowledge Musona’s agent, Mike Makaab, tells the Siya crew that Kaizer Chiefs are keen to keep the on-loan striker beyond the current season.
Musona is on loan from Germany’s 1899 Hoffenheim until the end of the current PSL season.
“Musona is enjoying his football again at Chiefs after his disappointing spell in Germany, but having said that, he still has a two-year contract with Hoffenheim, so they have a say in where he’ll play next season,” Makaab told the Siya crew.
“I will sit down with him this week to plan his future. Chiefs have done the good thing by giving him the chance to think about his future and what he’ll do next. They have simply let him know that they want to keep him, but they have given him the opportunity to make a decision about his future,” added Makaab.
“I think the most important thing now is for us to give Musona some time to decide on his future and then support him in whatever decision he takes. As his agent, I will listen to him and give him guidance where it is necessary.
But like I said, whatever we decide it would have to be in consultation with Hoffenheim, whom he still has a contract with,” concluded Makaab.
