Kaizer Chiefs will be looking to continue their impressive form away from home against Wits when they meet in a crucial PSL clash tomorrow evening.
The Amakhosi have won 16 of their 28 games at Bidvest Stadium over the years, losing just twice along the way, and will be eager to grab win number 17 this time around.
Stuart Baxter’s side need to take all three points if they’re to keep up their pursuit of the PSL title, while a defeat would throw a serious spanner into the works.
Overall, since 1985, the two teams have met in 55 league games, drawing 18 of them, while Chiefs have won 27 games to Wits’ 10.
The first league tie between the teams earlier this season ended 2-1 to Baxter’s side, after Kingston Nkhatha and the now-departed Lehlohonolo Majoro got on the scoresheet for the Glamour Boys.
At this stage, nothing but three points will do for Chiefs, though Gavin Hunt’s side will want to pick up their third home win over the Amakhosi and spoil the party.
