Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that Abia Nale has left the club on a six-month loan deal to Ajax Cape Town, whilst announcing the signing of goalkeeper Reyaad Pieterse.
The Siya crew broke the news of Nale’s loan move this week, while Pieterse’s signing was also revealed on the Soccer-Laduma web and mobi-site earlier this month.
The club has now confirmed the news with a statement on their official website, saying, “To end speculations and rumour, Kaizer Chiefs would like to announce that Abia Nale has moved to the Urban Warriors (Ajax Cape Town) on a loan deal until the end of the season. The two Clubs and the player have agreed the terms of the loan on Wednesday 23 January 2013.
“Meanwhile, the Club announced the signing of 20-year-old goalkeeper Reyaad Pieterse, a graduate of The Nike Chance. He spent some time at the Belgian Pro League outfit, K.A.A Gent, however due to changes in the coaching department, the potential deal fell through.”
It was recently reported that Chiefs are not planning to make any big name signings during the current transfer window, however it does appear that another announcement will be made in the near future on a second signing.
