Kaizer Chiefs claimed an easy victory over Swazi counterparts, Mbabane Swallows, with five different players getting on the scoresheet.
The Amakhosi took on Swallows at FNB Stadium yesterday as they look to keep their players match ready ahead of their PSL encounter with Mamelodi Sundowns in 10 days time.
Stuart Baxter put out a relatively strong side in the game, although he did have Itumeleng Khune, Tefu Mashamaite, Siphiwe Tshabalala and Bernard Parker missing due to international duty.
The game, which was player over two 45 minute halves, ended 6-0 to Chiefs, with George Lebese, Kingston Nkhatha (x2), Siyabonga Nkosi, Siboniso Gaxa and Matthew Rusike grabbing the goals.
New signing, George Maluleka, pulled on The Glamour Boys' jersey for the first time, playing an hour of the game.
Baxter’s team will partake in another friendly at FNB Stadium on Wednesday, although it remains to be seen who their opponents will be.
Chiefs have a heavy schedule coming up in the next two months, with PSL games and CAF Champions League encounters both on the horizon.
