Kaizer Chiefs will be hoping to claim their 30th league win over Bloemfontein Celtic when the two teams meet at Free State Stadium tonight.
The Amakhosi go into this game on the back of a comfortable 2-0 win over Maritzburg United and will have been buoyed by the fact that both Erick Mathoho and Knowledge Musona have been passed fit.
Stuart Baxter’s side currently find themselves 5th in the league while Celtic are in 12th, having won just one game this season so far.
The two teams have met 51 times since 1985, with Siwelele claiming just 10 wins to the Glamour Boys’ 29, and the points being shared on 12 occasions.
However, one plus for Clinton Larsen’s side is that of the 25 games that have been played at Free State Stadium, Celtic have lost only eight games, while drawing nine.
The last time that Chiefs lost to Celtic in a league game was back in the 2009/10 season, when Prince Olomu scored the winner for Siwelele.
