The former South African Football Association Vice President, Chief Mwelo Nonkonyana has reportedly lost his hearing over his unfair dismissal case.
The crew reported that the former vice president was running for the SAFA presidential seat despite concerns from SAFA over his eligibility to do so.
Furthermore, it was reported that the Chief would take the FA to court to dispute his unfair dismissal.
Soccer Laduma can confirm that the Chief has lost the verdict in the hearing further validating SAFA’s claims of his eligibility to run for president.
Now it understood the Chief Mwelo Nonkonyana has thrown his weight behind Tokoyo Sexwale who is reportedly ineligible to run for the SAFA presidency seat.
“This just validates SAFA stance on Chief Mwelo Nonkonyana. Even Sexwale himself cannot run for SAFA president because he is external to SAFA therefore, he does not qualify,” said a reliable SAFA source.
