Ajax Cape Town have begun their preparations for the new season by making some changes to their back-room staff, after what was a dismal 2012/13 Absa Premiership campaign.
The Siya Crew recently reported that Ian Taylor has been appointed as an assistant to head coach Muhsin Ertugral. Taylor will be working alongside David Nyathi, as the trio aim to improve on last season’s showing and challenge for silverware.
The Cape side have now reportedly added former Ajax goalkeeper, Sander Westerveld, to their technical team, as the club’s keeper coach.
The 38-year-old has been linked with the position of goalkeeper coach for some time, with the Urban Warriors now confirming his appointment on the club’s official website.
Ajax have also included the appointment of Jacques du Toit to their medical department, as the club’s biokineticist.
