It seems former Stars of Africa Academy player Sandile Hadebe, who had been training with Bloemfontein Celtic, has failed to land a deal with the club.
The 21-year-old attacking midfielder had a stint with IFK Hassleholm in the Swedish Second Division, where he played alongside fellow South Africans Chadley Jacobs and Andile Xaba, but decided to come back home last year after things did not go well.
He has been searching for a club for some time and got an opportunity to train with Celtic at the beginning of the year, but has apparently now stopped. He is a product of the Stars of Africa Academy and came highly-rated.
A source told the Siya crew, “Sandile was here with us, but he stopped training with us two weeks ago. I’m not sure what’s happening, but I don’t think the club is going to sign him.”
